I am a capable and compassionate nanny with over 11 years of child care experience. Throughout my teenage years, I was responsible for taking care of my younger siblings, and my bubble expanded to include babysitting for friends and neighbours. I have enjoyed working with children of all ages, from newborn to 10 years and above. Though I presently work as an administrative assistant in real estate, I am looking forward to returning to the profession I am passionate about—nurturing and caring for children. I am actively seeking a part-time live-out position as a Babysitter or Mother's Helper, beginning from 29th November, 2025. I am comfortable managing more than one child at any given time, with a maximum of three children. Aside from the basic responsibilities of child care, I am also willing to provide assistance with cooking, light housekeeping, running errands or grocery shopping, preparing meals for kids, transporting children, and doing children's laundry. As a non-smoker with a driver's license and my own car, I can ensure safe travel for your children. Trained in both First Aid and CPR, and comfortable with swimming, I can guarantee your child's safety in various situations. It won't be lost on you that I can effectively communicate with your children in both English and French. If you need me to, I am willing to undergo a police check. I reside in Lake Country and though I cannot relocate, I am happy to travel for work. I am available for work mainly in the evenings on weekdays and flexible for any time on the weekends. I assure you that I will bring my wealth of experience and dedication to foster a nurturing, fun-filled, and secure environment for your children. Looking forward to having a rewarding relationship with your family. I have 5 younger siblings, for which I cared for since I was 10 years old.

My name is Mercedes! I’m a passionate and caring individual who adores children. I’m hardworking, reliable and I would love to meet you and your family! I've been working with kids for about as long as I can remember. As soon as I was old enough, I started volunteering at Sunday school and summer camps. I always loved being around the kids and hoped that I could impact them in a positive way. My goal was to be the kind of leader who I wished I’d had when I was a kid. Everyone who knows me knows just how much I adore children, especially the little ones. I care a lot and my hearts desire is to form genuine connections. I'm a hard working, responsible young lady and I'm happy to help out however I can. I love pets and animals of all kind! I also enjoy cooking, so I’d be happy to help with any meal prep. I’m also happy to help with any cleaning or household chores. I've worked with several different families, I’m currently working with a family with special needs. But they won’t be needing my help anymore since their youngest got accepted to daycare. I started working with them full time in March. It’s been a unique job, due to working with disabilities. But the family has been really impressed with how well I’ve adapted to the challenges as they arise. The next part of my description focuses on my previous job from a few years ago. As that’s what I had written on my profile before March. In 2022-23 I worked as a part-time Nanny for a family with two sons, both under the age of two. (The youngest was 9 months when I started). I absolutely adored those boys and it broke my heart when I had to say good bye. But I felt called to go to a ministry school in Toronto for a year. It was a hard decision and sometimes I regret it because I miss the kids. But I’m praying that God will bless me with new opportunities. During my last job, I was responsible for looking after two baby boys three days a week, for 8+ hour shifts. I would take care of meal time, nap time, play time, etc. If the weather permitted, we would go for walks to nearby parks or beaches. Sometimes I would take their dog out with us. The boys were close family friends, but they behaved like brothers, so I often had to remind them to share and play nice. Since I was with that family for a year, I got to see the kids grow up. I felt honoured to be able to be a part of their lives and watch them grow. Sure, it wasn’t for an exceptionally long period, but kids grow so fast at that age. I remember being so proud of them with each milestone they accomplished. A fun fact about me is that I love learning about psychology. One of the topics I often research is early childhood development. I find it fascinating how much of an impact one can make on a child, it is a privilege as well as an important responsibility. My goal is to provide the best care that I can for your child. Encouraging them to grow, while nurturing them and helping foster a sense of safety and independence from a young age. My goal in life is to be the kind of person who I wished was in my life when I was younger. As a young child, I struggled to manage my emotions. I often felt insecure, lonely and misunderstood. I had undiagnosed ADHD and other mental health challenges, which only added to my struggles. Growing up, I was often emotionally neglected. Throughout my life, I’ve worked hard to become who I am today. I’ve gotten lots of counselling and guidance and put it a lot of effort in order to learn to grow in my self worth and identity. Now a days, most people would never guess what my past was like. However, as a result, it’s taught me to be more compassionate. I’m extremely empathetic, especially towards children. I believe that kids should be loved and nurtured, but also given space to grow and learn independence. Life is so often about finding balance, and raising kids is often the same way. I feel blessed when I’m able to be a blessing to others. So I sincerely hope that I’m able to find a family that I will be able to be a blessing to. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to get back to you! I can provide a resume, reference's, record check and answer any other questions upon request! :)

I grew up with five siblings, almost all of whom are younger than me. I love taking kids out for walks, discovering new games and engaging activities, and helping them learn and grow. I’m Sharon. My husband and I recently moved back to Lake Country after a few years in Nashville, where I had the pleasure of helping out several wonderful families over the years. We run the Boots ’N Boats Festival every summer at Turtle Bay Marina, which keeps me fairly busy, but I’d to provide my spare time to some local families that could use a helping hand. I’m available for part-time and on-call childcare with flexibility to help in other areas too. I provide safe, attentive care for kids of all ages and can also help with light housekeeping, grocery runs, pet care, pick ups and drop offs, homework, meal prep, and occasional overnight care/ vacation coverage. I’m responsible, caring, and have plenty of hands-on experience with both kids and pets. I have a clean driving record and a safe, reliable 4x4 truck with good tires, so you can always count on a safe ride for school runs, errands, or appointments, even in winter weather. I enjoy helping busy families who need someone to step in to help when life gets busy! With over 5 years of experience working with children of all ages, including those with disabilities, I am a reliable and caring nanny seeking a part-time position in Lake Country. I am available Monday to Friday for morning, middle of the day, evening, and night shifts. I have a driver's license, a vehicle, and can perform a variety of duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, and helping with homework. I am a non-smoker, can swim well, and am willing to obtain a police check. Fluent in English, I am looking for a long-term position as a Nanny, Mother's Helper, or Babysitter.
