A Mom of 2 girls and came from a big family. Being 2nd from the oldest, I learned a lot of how to be a responsible sister on how to take care of my siblings. Though we brought up with 3 Helpers to helped-out we we're being taught at very young age how to helped around the house.
Both my Parents were Professionals and was out of the house the whole day and gets home only late in the afternoons. Still I have to extend help and our parents trained me/us all at very young age on how to take care of our siblings of any age range and how to be a responsible big sister even to our cousins and kids in the neighbourhood.
My Parents graduated in one of the Prestigious University of the Philippines, well-known University of San Agustin, Iloilo City as mostly me and my siblings graduated there (as 9 of us were all Professionals). On my Dad side 7 out 8 of them graduated in this University (except for the Priest), 'same w/ grandparents and other extended family members.
I do take good care not only my siblings, my very own kids, nephews and nieces, too and some of my family friends kids here and back home which contributes a lot for myself how to nurture, care and love kids that helps a lot in myself of how to become a Professional Childcaregiver/Nannny-Babysitter in more than a decade in this country.
Even when they're on their Maternity Leave they want to keep me as they don't want me to look for another Employers.
My Employers entrust me to take good care of their kid/s. We learned and earned our experienced from each other through trust, respect and value each other's business. I treat their kids as like my very own kid/s, nephews or neices. If I have to leave their place, they/he/she always have to hug my legs so tight that I can't hardly walk and cry and beg not to leave them which broke or touches or melt my heart all the time. Or he/she/they will give me something to take home with me like their drawings/arts or anything that will remind me of them.
Sometimes, non-stop blowing kisses to me which is very touching. Parents end-up they've to walked or drive me to the bus stops or train stations or have a car ride to my place. But now, I do drive and have a reliable car of my own.
My husband used to work for 8 years as a Line/PrepCook in Old/New Elbow Casino in Macleod Trail. Currently works with the Catholic School Board close to 2 decades now.
I am very warm loving, compassionate person. Very much a music/sports minded person. Loves to dance and sing while playing the piano/organ. I love to play any indoor/outdoor sports like lawn/table tennis, bowling, biking, etc.
I was a Basketball Girl Captain in HS and played a lot in the University and during summer time comes we do competitive summer sports games. That helps contributes a lot on how to entertain the kids under my care and keep them physically active in and outside of their home. Same w/ the members of my family here in Canada, as one sister lives in Cranston we do Competetive to play Lan/TableTennis.
I love to give hugs, kisses and mostly cuddling. My nature is, I am a very warm, loving, nurturing kindhearted person w/ humor.
I know how to distract kids attention esp. if their parents will leave for work. Sometimes it's funny the parent/s needs to beg for their hugs or blowing kisses.
If they fight for something I know how to bribe them (do all the tricks) or just entertain them with dancing/singing, some ryhmes or just being playful, silly and be funny.
Communication is always a part of my forte or work style. I am very straightforward/co. person. Very much likely to up-date the parents with daily activities. Have a small talked w/ them if there's time and if there's none, any major/minor issues, I put it into writing. If needed, they're more than welcome to call me of any concerns even if I am off from work. ; Thesame, I expect from the Employers esp. if the kids don't feel well they've to let me know in advance. Like the night before or the first thing in the morning when I get there at their place.
Knows how to discipline kid/s depending and does varies on their age/s.
