Hello, I am looking for a Chinese speaking (preferably Cantonese) to help care for my mom. 67 year old female. Lives in condo. Needs help with cleaning, preparing meals (we will provide groceries or reimburse), laundry, taking her outside. She walks with a walker, needs some supervision. She needs help changing (sometimes her underwear/diaper). Currently looking for part time (2-3 days a week) from 2:30pm-7:30pm. Flexible on the days but would keep the time to afternoon/evening. I am a private individual seeking an experienced, caring, and patient caregiver for a part-time position. The preferred candidate will ideally have experience working with persons with disabilities and familiarity with managing conditions such as malnutrition and decubitus ulcers. Furthermore, this role involves accompanying the person in your care to appointments, so a driving license is not mandatory but can be an added advantage. However, usage of a personal vehicle for automobile transportation will not be required in this role. They would like help in: -Assisting with meal preparation - cutting vegetables. - Filing and emptying the dishwasher - Laundry - House cleaning including bathrooms - Doing grocery shopping - Other responsibilities as they arise. - Personal hygiene tasks if they arise in the future. If the housekeeper is also looking for an apt then my parents can rent the apartment at a subsidized rate. The Housekeeper would be free to work part time elsewhere.
