An engaging, and loving nanny is needed for a sweet 1 year old girl starting in July 2024. The family is looking for an experienced and gentle nanny who can manage all things childcare as well as managing the child’s laundry, meals and keeping her room clean and tidy as well as some family meal prep. We are looking for a nanny who can engage the child in educational activities and take the child to local programs. We require a nanny who drives and has a car that they can use for work We are looking for a nanny on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30am-6:30pm. The family needs full- time coverage Monday to Friday from July 29 - August 16th Location: Woodbine and Cosburn- Near Woodbine station Child’s age: 1 Year old Start Date: Tuesday July 2, 2024 Contract length: 1 year to start Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:30-6:30pm Hourly Rate: $24-$28/hour gross Responsibilities • Provide attentive and responsible care for child in a safe and nurturing environment. • Engage child in age-appropriate activities, such as imaginary play, games, crafts, and educational play.Drive child to and from activities • Prepare and serve meals and snacks for child, ensuring they receive proper nutrition. • Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the child’s care, such as, laundry, tidying up after meals, loading and unloading the dishwasher and cleaning up play areas, bedroom etc. • Conduct the child’s daily schedule include nap routines • Family meal prep • Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the child’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise. Requirements/Qualifications • 3+ years of Nanny experience in a private home • 5+ years of experience working with children • Drivers license and car required (milage will be paid by the family) • Ability to provide a safe and secure environment for the child.. • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents • Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines and schedules. • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude when engaging with children. • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. • Basic cooking skills to prepare meals for children and parents • First Aid/CPR required or willing to renew • Police clearance required or willing to renew • 3 Childcare/Nanny references required If you are passionate about working with children and providing them with a nurturing environment, we would love to hear from you
