I'm Manvir, a university actuarial mathamatics student passionate about teaching and currently based in Winnipeg. I'm extremely committed and ready to make a significant positive impact on my students' educational journeys. My areas of expertise range from school readiness tutoring, elementary school tutoring, exam preparation, to the Montessori method. As a versatile and flexible tutor, I'm available throughout the week, including weekends, during midday and evening hours. Convenience for my students is a top priority for me, so whether it's online or at the employer's home, I can easily adapt to different teaching environments. As a bonus, I have my own vehicle and a valid driver's license which facilitates my ability to travel for work when needed. I can provide tutoring for various age groups from 3 to 17 years old. My subject proficiency spans across Math, English, Social Science, and Advanced Mathematics, and I take pride in making these subjects enjoyable and easy-to-understand for my pupils. Additionally, for those interested I can also teach photography, origami, and other arts and crafts. Being comfortable in English, I'm equipped to assist students in improving both their spoken and written language skills. And rest assured, I am willing to obtain a police check if needed. My ultimate aim as a private tutor is to create a supportive, engaging and productive learning environment for all students. As a Canadian citizen, I hold a secondary school diploma as well as a Bachelor's degree and look forward to applying and sharing my knowledge with others.
