My name is Briar, a seasoned tutor who started in the business when I was 14. I founded my own language learning tutoring business, the West Grey Tutoring Company, in my home town where I had the opportunity to teach 10 different children using various learning methods. I pride myself in my four-year tutoring experience, providing assistance to children in various age groups ranging from 3 to 15 years old. Despite my young age of 18, my experience with educating children extends to those with learning and attention difficulties. I'm specialized in Elementary School Tutoring, Middle School Tutoring and preparing students for tests. I also have experience with children who are dealing with special needs. Apart from that, I have acquired proficiency in both English and French and can thus cater to a broader scope of students. I'm equipped to teach various school subjects including Social Science, Psychology, History/Social Studies, Biology, and English. I also offer arts and crafts and visual art classes for those interested in immersing in the creative field. I hold a Ontario Secondary School Diploma and am working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I'm currently based in Waterloo and prefer to work at the employer's home or online.
