I am a creative and talkative individual with passions for connecting with others. I enjoy engaging with children and finding ways to use their interests as a means to influence their educational goals and skills. I hold the belief that reading comprehension is a valuable skill that allows us the ability to learn nearly anything we put our minds to, which is why I am so passionate about boosting students reading and writing skills.

I have 3 years of experience working with preschool and elementary school aged children primarily in English as a second language. My strengths are in increasing language proficiency and developing literacy and improving reading comprehension. With a bachelors degree in History I am also available for assistance with social studies courses. I speak French and have experience with tutoring introductory level French with elementary and preschool aged children.
