Prajita T.
My name is Prajita and I currently reside in Vancouver, Canada. Currently, I am a student of Bachelor of Business Administration at Yorkville University. I'm originally from Kathmandu, Nepal and come from a family that greatly values education and hard work. These values have shaped my dedication to teaching. Having spent over five years in the educational sector, I have honed my skills in breaking down complex concepts and engaging students of different age groups in interactive lessons. I primarily teach Mathematics and Science, but I am also comfortable teaching a broad range of subjects. These include History, Social Studies, Astronomy, and Political Science. I view teaching not only as a profession, but also as a heartfelt means to guide and inspire future generations. I approach teaching with patience, dedication, and adaptability, allowing me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds. I am available to teach during weekday evenings and mornings, and on weekends during the day or night. I am very excited about the prospect of using my skills and cultural perspective in a tutoring role where I can help your children excel, while continuing my own personal growth. I am known to be a very approachable person by both my students and colleagues, and my commitment to education is unwavering. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepalese, I am willing to travel for work to provide learning in the comfort of your own home. I am a reliable, non-smoking, enthusiastic educator who is devoted to helping your children achieve academic success. I am eager to start immediately and looking forward to playing a role in your learning journey!
I have over five years of teaching experience in Nepal, specializing in both mathematics and science. For three years, I taught mathematics to students from grades 1 to 8, where I focused on helping learners build strong foundational skills and simplifying complex concepts to make them engaging and easy to understand. In addition, I taught science for two years in Kathmandu, designing lessons that combined theory with practical demonstrations and hands-on activities to spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking among students. Through these experiences, I developed strong classroom management skills, adaptability, and the ability to work with diverse groups of learners. Academically, I completed 10+2 Science and two years of Bachelor of Science studies in Nepal, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Yorkville University in Vancouver, Canada, which allows me to broaden my academic knowledge and professional skills.
