My name is Anastasia and I'm an Early Childhood Educator in Vancouver. My hobbies include crafting, cooking, running and finding the cutest dogs at the dog park to play with. I love working with children and it's always been a dream of mine to work in this field so I'm very greatful that I get to call this my work. I love building meaningful relationships with all the children that I meet, as I think that is the foundation of any growth and learning in these early stages. I'm heavily influenced by my educational background in Psychilogy and Early Childhood Education and try to learn more about Early learning as I gain experience.

I've worked as an English phonics teacher using the Jolly phonics method for children from 2 -9 years old. I'm also experience in teaching math using the Singapore math model. Having grown up in Greece, I'm fluent in the language and could provide early learning experiences to children in the beginning stages of their Greek language learning. Since 2017, I've worked in education and childcare, most recently working at UBC Childcare services as an Early Childhood Educator.
