I am a 28-year-old architectural designer with a background in sciences. I have years of experience as a teaching assistant at UBC and at an ESL college. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and adapting my teaching style to students' needs. Although I am fully Canadian, my family speaks Cantonese, so I understand the challenges of coming from different backgrounds. I love to travel and have visited many places in Asia. I have a friendly and positive personality and place great value on clear communication.

I was a teaching assistant for 3 out of 4 years during my undergraduate degree and for 2 out of 3 years during my graduate degree. I taught science courses as well as art and design classes. Additionally, I worked as an English tutor for ILAC in Vancouver during the summer program, teaching English to students aged 14-16 at beginner to intermediate levels.
