I am a married, and currently with no children of my own. I have many different interests, I take weekly oil painting classes with a friend. Where we are learning to paint landscapes, portraits and even pet portraits. In the summer I like to stay active and go paddle boarding with my husband, swim and bike around the city. In the winter I'll usually be skiing, which is one of my favorite things that Vancouver has to offer. I'm currently looking to take a Spanish class so I can keep improving my language skills too. I'm a very social person which I one of the reasons I have so many hobbies. Since I like learning so much myself, I am a patient tutor and enjoy the process of teaching.

As a former art teacher for kids, I have had the joy of teaching various art forms, from painting to sculpting, alongside sharing captivating art history lessons. I also have extensive experience leading art workshops, organizing summer camps, and even orchestrating unforgettable art-themed parties, making sure every moment is filled with creativity and joy. I proudly hold a TEFL certification from the educational department at the University of Toronto, where I honed my skills in teaching English to both youth and adults. My time teaching English in a Spanish school allowed me to embrace cultural diversity and foster meaningful connections with my students, promoting language fluency in an inclusive and engaging environment. Within an IB international school, I thrived as a teacher's assistant, specializing in art and Spanish. This experience not only sharpened my ability to adapt to various learning styles but also allowed me to develop and implement captivating curriculum that catered to the unique needs and interests of the children. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create and coordinate the curriculum for an arts-focused summer camp, igniting children's imaginations and encouraging their artistic exploration. With my love for working with children and youth, combined with an open-minded and flexible approach, I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.
