My name is Samar and I am 43 years of age. I love travel and dogs. I am Persian background but I was born in the Philippines and raised in Canada since the age of one. I have a small dog and he's my pride and joy! I have a car and I am willing to come to you for our tutoring sessions. I am pretty flexible as I am available to work from Monday to Thursday. Some weekends can work too.

I'm a retired teacher, and I have been tutoring ESL for over 20 years. I have worked with children and adults, focusing on reading, writing and conversational English. I speak English, Farsi and French. I have lived all over Canada, USA, China, Brazil and the Philippines. Most of my life has been in the Vancouver area. I love animals and children. I enjoy helping new comers learn the English language and become familiar with the ways of life in Canada. Since I have moved around a lot, I can relate to their struggles. I hope to work with children and newcomers, on their language skills.
