I’m a 30-year-old educator, musician, and caregiver with over 6 years of experience working with children aged 3 to 13 in both creative and academic settings. I hold an honours degree from Ryerson University and have a warm, thoughtful approach when it comes to supporting kids—whether it’s with schoolwork, music, emotional regulation, or just having a fun, safe afternoon after school. My background is rooted in music education and hands-on caregiving. I’ve taught private drum and guitar lessons to kids aged 5–13 for over three years, and I led a large group workshop through Grayson’s Recording Workshop in partnership with Regent Park School of Music, guiding 20+ students through original songwriting and recording. I’m also a professional drummer and have trained under world-class musicians including Grammy-nominated NYC-based drummer Vishal Nayak and guitar lessons from UCLA PhD alum Ryan Thomas. In addition to teaching, I’ve supported families as a nanny and babysitter—helping with school pick-ups, snack prep, light tidying, bedtime routines, creative play, and tutoring. I love making children feel seen, safe, and encouraged. I believe in following their lead while providing a calm, consistent presence they can rely on. I come from a close-knit family, and I naturally bring that warmth into my work with children.
