Hargun B.
I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. I have a strong academic foundation, having been awarded the prestigious University of Toronto International Scholars Award, and I bring a deep passion for learning and teaching. With over two years of experience tutoring students in math, physics, chemistry and biology, I’ve developed an interactive, patient, and concept-focused teaching style. I’ve worked with learners across age groups and abilities, helping them build confidence and achieve academic success. Coming from a supportive family that values education, I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and exploring the intersection of technology and education. I’m known for being reliable, communicative, and empathetic—qualities that help me connect with students and support their unique learning needs. I’m excited to continue using my skills to help students grow and reach their potential.
During the last 2 years of my high school, I used to tutor middle school and grade 9 and 10 students in math, physics, chemistry and biology. I have also guided high school students in my first year of undergraduate degree as an Undergraduate Research Lead for a Data Science project. My strengths are that I can explain a topic in the easiest way possible using real life examples.
