I have always had a passion for teaching children since high school, and I ran a home-tutoring business at the age of 14. Currently, I work as an ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) and am responsible for caring for children of different age groups. From November 2023 to August 2024, I homeschooled my eldest child who was having difficulty learning in a large group setting at school. It was during this time that my passion for teaching children was reignited. I designed daily work exercises/activities for my child, focusing particularly on the areas in which she struggled the most. Through patience and repetition, I taught her how to read, write, and do simple mathematical equations - things she was unable to do while attending public school. I also customized lessons to fit her learning style by incorporating creativity and visuals. After witnessing the success, growth, and improvements in my own child, I now have a desire to help other children as well.

I ran a tutoring program in high school for two years, during which I taught children aged 3 to 6. As an adult, I homeschooled my own child for one year because she was having difficulty learning in a large group setting at school. Altogether, I have three years of experience teaching children.
