Hello! I’m Diana, I’m mexican and I’m currently a Teacher Candidate at UofT. My hobbies include biking, hiking, watercolour painting, knitting and exploring the city (and the restaurants)

I have been an educator since I was a kid because I was a member of the youth group at my local church. During my University years I was a tutor for other medical students who struggled with courses I had already taken and afterwards, when I became a doctor my job included being a educator to all my patients but I also coordinated health campaigns directed to children at the local kindergarten and the high school. I am now training to become an Elementary Teacher at UofT and I have completed two practicums so far, I’m able to plan units, lessons and to provide one on one tutoring with a Culturally Responsive pedagogical approach and understanding of the individual needs of my students.
