I am a dedicated professional with a Masters degree in Computer Science from Lakehead University. Originally from India, I was raised in a vegetarian, animal-loving, socially active household that practiced Jainism and deeply believed in social service and community welfare.
My childcare journey began at the age of 17, and it has been a fulfilling hobby and side hustle for me until 2021. I have had the opportunity to work at Root to Wings Kindergarten, providing nurturing care and educational support to young learners for nearly a year. Additionally, I have extensive experience tutoring children of varying ages, ranging from pre-primary to grade 11, covering subjects such as English, Maths, Accounts, Computers, and Biology. Notably, I had the privilege of tutoring a child with special needs, including those who are deaf, demonstrating my adaptability and commitment to inclusive education.
My passion for STEM education led me to Kidotronics, an education center in India specializing in teaching STEM concepts to children aged 2-16 through innovative methods such as Lego robotics, 3D printing, and Scratch programming. Here, I played a pivotal role in fostering children's creativity and problem-solving skills.
Furthermore, I have shared my love for the arts by teaching Art, Craft, and Painting at Chitran, a small art school. Though lacking formal training, my hands-on experience has granted me invaluable insights into child psychology and STEM development, enriching my approach to childcare and education.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new cuisines, and volunteering for social causes.
