As an Education Assistant at the elementary school, my role is to support the learning, development, and well-being of students, particularly those with special needs or unique learning challenges. I assist the classroom teacher by adapting lesson materials, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive. My responsibilities include providing one-on-one or small group support, fostering social and emotional skills, and ensuring students are engaged and focused during activities. Additionally, I help manage classroom behavior, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed academically and socially. I am still currently at the school, enhance wanting the opportunity to babysit/nanny on weekends and potentially tutor.
