Erica Y.
I’m an honours graduate with a strong interest in science, soon heading to the University of Toronto—Canada’s top university—to study Life Sciences with plans to pursue medicine. I come from a close-knit family that values hard work, education, and community. I have experience babysitting three children on a regular basis, where I cooked meals, kept the home tidy, and created a safe, positive environment. At school, I tutored peers in Advanced Placement Calculus, Advanced Placement Biology, as well as the highest level of high school Chemistry and English, helping them master challenging material. Beyond academics, I’ve been actively involved in extracurricular activities such as student leadership, event planning, and volunteering with health-related nonprofits—experiences that strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring new science topics, and photography. I’m dedicated, patient, and focused, and I love supporting children’s growth—both academically and personally—through caring supervision and creative learning opportunities.
