My name is Farouk, and I am a 23-year-old young man who is currently knee deep in the pursuit of my Master’s degree. I have always felt a strong and uncontrollable passion for teaching, a passion that I have had the opportunity to put into practice in my role as a teaching assistant at university. Alongside this, I often find myself being the go to person for my colleagues whenever they are in need of assistance with their various tasks, and I always make it a point to be there for them. Going beyond just an obligation, I genuinely find immense pleasure in guiding others on their path towards knowledge. I am strongly convinced of the fact that a learning environment blossoms best under positivity, and so, I work relentlessly to create and maintain a positive ambiance in every teaching scenario I find myself in. In addition to my love for teaching, I am also very captivated by music. Singing, in specific, holds a special place in my heart. As an advocate for enjoyable learning, I strongly believe that music, and singing in particular, is one of the most entertaining yet highly effective ways to learn a language. It makes the process less of a chore and more of an entertaining activity, thereby increasing the efficiency of learning. Moreover, being an active person, I find great joy in playing soccer. This hobby not only keeps me physically fit, but also enables me to bring an immense amount of energy, discipline, and a sporty spirit into everything I undertake. I adhere to the philosophy that life must be lived actively and vibrantly, and I apply this principle to both my personal and professional life, keeping the same level of enthusiasm whether I'm on the soccer field or in the classroom.

Tutoring children and teens from ages 5 to 17 has been incredibly meaningful to me. I love helping students find their confidence in vocals, making French fun and approachable through interactive lessons, and turning complex biology topics into exciting discoveries. Seeing their growth, whether it’s hitting a new note, speaking a full sentence in French, or finally understanding a tricky concept, always reminds me why I’m so passionate about teaching.
