My name is Alexa. I am an enthusiastic and fresh educator who has recently graduated, holding an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Art and Science, and training as a Speech Therapist. Although I have no professional work experience yet, my robust educational background provides me with a strong foundation to start educating. My main approach to teaching is centered around the Montessori Method and I feel confident in my abilities to prepare students for their exams. I can teach a variety of subjects such as Political Science, Physics, History/Social Studies, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Literature, Computer Science, and Philosophy to students aged between 6 and 17, and adults. Beyond academics, I am also capable of teaching art-related subjects such as Visual Art, Design, Arts and Crafts, Debate/Rhetoric, and a range of music subjects including Saxophone, Cornet, Clarinet, Violin, and Drums. Additionally, if you're interested in Yoga, Ballroom Dancing, or Choreography, I'd be thrilled to guide you through these physical subjects. Coming from a multilingual background, I can fluently speak English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, German, Mandarin. It brightly widens the possibility of connecting with different students around the globe. I am currently live in Kangiqsujuaq and willing to relocate. I also have a driver's license for potentially necessary transportation. My preference would be to work from the employer's home or online. I am available for night shifts from Monday to Sunday, aligning perfectly for those who prefer to learn in the calmness of the evening. As part of ensuring a safe learning environment, I'm willing to undergo police checks as required.
