I'm Emma, a dedicated and highly experienced tutor with over 10 years of experience in the field. I'm based in North Vancouver, but I am willing to relocate and travel as needed. I also have the flexibility to work full-time throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. In my previous roles as a Children’s Ministry Coordinator and a Science & Math Tutor, I developed a profound understanding of how to nurture students' learning and personal growth. Birthed from these experiences is a strong ability to create engaging, tailored teaching approaches that meet diverse needs. I am very comfortable working with students aged between 3 to adults and can deliver lessons in Math, English, Literature, Biology, Chemistry, History/Social studies, Economics, and Computer Science, among other subjects. I also have special qualifications in preparing students for school, exams, and catering to those with special needs. In regards to me personally, I come equipped with non-smoking habits, and strong swimming abilities. One key aspect to note is that I do not have children of my own, which equips me with ample time and energy to focus on the needs and development of my students.
