My name is Dina , and I am a University student in York. I am middle eastern, and can speak fluent Farsi. Since I was little, I pursued the arts, including Piano, and Art lessons, which have helped me with self expression. I also have played competitive soccer and volleyball growing up, which has helped me develop communication skills, as well as leadership and cooperative strategies.In my spare time recently, I have been into poetry, and have used it as a form of reflecting my ideas into rhythmic flowing sentences. I have been a tutor for five years, and have helped teach numerous students depending on their learning style. I typically enjoy intertwining activities to reflect on how learning can be fun, and make it more appealing to students. I have grown great relationships with the children I have taught, and have ensured they all can trust me. I also like to portray myself as a friendly figure to provide my students with the extra sense of comfort. Growing up, my tutors have helped me gain and create my identity, and have revealed things I now feel passionate about, which is what I hope to help all of my students with. I hope to help them learn more about themselves, including their interests and work habits, to ensure a brighter future for everyone:)

Growing up, I have had a tutor of my own, who helped me recognize my potential. Growing up, I always saw myself as less than others, but my tutor has helped me unlock my full potential. That is why I have been tutoring for the past five years. I want to help inspire youth to unlock their full potential and illustrate that they are capable of anything. Additionally, I am very patient and know that every child works at their own pace, which is normal; we all function differently. I have also gathered resources to help teach my students in fun and engaging ways to keep them motivated, as well as to ensure their comfort with me
