My parents are from Sri Lanka but I was born in Lavale, Quebec and then moved to Scarborough when I was 7. I've been in Ottawa for the past few years for university but my family still resides in Scarborough. Along with my parents, I have one younger brother who is 20. My cousins have lived in front of our house since we moved to Scarborough so we grew up alongside them since childhood. My hobbies growing up were doing hurdles for track and field, painting landscapes and collecting vinyl records. I've always been passionate about my hobbies and interests in school, primarily healthcare. I'm hoping to finish this degree and apply for medical school shortly.
