My name is Sarah and I have a background working with both children and adult learners in writing, English, English as an Additional Language, and academic preparation. I received my bachelor's degree in English and Creative writing from the University of Victoria in 2018 and completed a three-year playwriting program at the National Theatre School of Canada in 2025. In addition, I obtained my CertTESOL Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Trinity College London/Oxford Tefl Prague, June 2016, which included 120 hours of practicum experience. I have worked in out-of-school care, summer camps, English-language learning classes, and as a coordinator for a university tutoring program. In my spare time, I enjoy writing for the arts, staying active outside, and participating in the theatre. I have a flexible schedule, am patient, empathetic, and adaptable in my approach working with students.
