Vamentina N.
I’m a master’s student in Materials Engineering at McGill University, originally from Colombia, where I earned my degree in Chemical Engineering. I have over 5 years of tutoring and teaching experience, including roles as a Teacher Assistant during both my bachelor’s and master’s studies. I’ve also supported children with learning difficulties in reading and writing, and I’ve tutored high school students in math, chemistry, biology, and physics. I’m strongly oriented to adapt my teaching strategies and explanations to each student’s learning pace and skills, aiming to make learning a kind, smooth, and enjoyable process. I believe in building confidence through patience, encouragement, and clear guidance. Beyond academics, I’m passionate about helping others and protecting the environment—values that guide both my career and daily life. I co-founded and managed a social project in Colombia that empowered scout kids to raise funds and organize Christmas events for children in vulnerable communities. In my free time, I love dancing, crochet, cooking, baking, scouting, and creating handmade crafts. I’d be happy to help your child grow academically and personally with care, creativity, and commitment.
