Romie B.
My name is Romie, and I have always been passionate about helping others, particularly when it comes to education. Throughout my life, I’ve naturally taken on a mentoring role, especially within my family. I’ve gained valuable tutoring experience by regularly assisting my younger brother with his schoolwork, helping him grasp challenging concepts and guiding him through his assignments. This not only allowed me to develop strong communication skills but also taught me patience and the ability to adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles. Additionally, during my babysitting jobs, I frequently helped the children I looked after with their homework. This further enhanced my ability to work with young students and provided me with insights into how to make learning engaging and enjoyable for them. Beyond tutoring, my interests lie in the medical field, where I am pursuing a deeper understanding of science and research. I’m a strong believer in the importance of education and the positive impact it can have on a young person’s future. In addition to my academic interests, I enjoy working with children and have experience in volunteering, where I’ve been involved in teaching basic first aid to young kids. I am also fluent in French and English, with a working knowledge of Italian, which gives me an added ability to connect with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. I believe my dedication, enthusiasm for learning, and experience working with children make me a great candidate for a tutoring position. I look forward to helping students not only achieve academic success but also develop a love for learning.
