Hannah M.
I am currently a physics student at Université de Montréal and I have a passion for mathematics and science. I love to teach, and I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I am bilingual, with native fluency in both French and English. Highland dancing is the biggest part of my life, I have been dancing since I was 4 years old and teaching since I was 15. I am a member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, and I have had lots of success competing in championships across North America and Scotland. Highland dancing has allowed me to travel and perform around the world, most recently in Switzerland, Scotland and Australia. Apart from school and dance, I am an avid reader and an outdoorsy person! I love to be outside, rain or shine and I love to lose myself in a good book. I grew up camping with my family, and I believe these experiences cultivated my love for the outdoors, and for cycling!
I have been working as a private tutor for the past 5 years. I teach mainly math, science and languages. My favourite subject to teach (and to learn!) is math. My goal in tutoring is to get to know my students' learning style and to create lessons that will maximize my student's understanding of the subject area, while ensuring that they enjoy the process of learning. I have experience tutoring students as young as grade 1 and through to CEGEP.
