Melani B.
My name is Melani, and I’m a responsible, caring, and dependable 21-year-old who enjoys helping families and working with children. I previously studied Early Childhood Education (ECE) and completed a co-op placement in a daycare, where I gained valuable hands-on experience supporting children in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. During that time, I learned how to engage children through play, learning activities, and positive communication while supporting their daily routines. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different families, providing babysitting and tutoring services. I’ve helped children with homework, supported learning, and created fun activities to keep them engaged and happy. I’ve also assisted families with daily responsibilities such as school pick-ups and drop-offs, meal preparation, light household help, and running small errands when needed. I’m currently in school studying to become a Personal Support Worker (PSW), which has further strengthened my passion for caring for others and supporting people in their daily lives. I pride myself on being patient, organized, and trustworthy, and I always aim to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment for the families I work with. I look forward to helping make your day-to-day life a little easier while ensuring your children feel cared for and supported.
