Dayssi Arely P.
I am Salvadoran and bilingual in English and Spanish. I am a teacher candidate, a Christian, and someone who truly values family, faith, and strong relationships. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I bring that same care, patience, and compassion into everything I do. I am kind, reliable, and genuinely enjoy supporting and caring for children.
I am a Teacher Candidate currently completing my Bachelor of Education in the Junior/Intermediate division with Mathematics as my teachable subject at Wilfrid Laurier University, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from York University. I have experience supporting students in Mathematics and Language Arts across elementary and middle school levels. I have worked in both classroom and tutoring environments, including Joshua Creek Public School and YMCA Academy, and John D Parker Junior School. I am patient, organized, and student-centered, and I focus on helping students build strong academic foundations while developing confidence and independence in their learning.
