My name is Anna, and I am a current Grade 9 Pre-IB student. I am extremely happy to potentially be working with your children. I am an only child in an immigrant family (though I was born in Toronto!). I adore the violin and reading, I am a hard worker and am very focused in my studies. I am CPR, Lifesaving, and Babysitting certified by Red Cross. I plan to pursue either corporate law or of course, early education (dream job!). My plan is to use my money to pay off my future student loans as well as paying for the IB diploma fee. I can cook, clean, and tutor all in one!
Though I am currently in Grade 9, I have nearly 150+ hours working with children. I've completed the counselor-in-training program with the City of Toronto (working 9am-4pm Monday-Friday for 2 weeks) as well as multiple hours volunteering (ie. Volunteer Captain at the Kidz Zone for an epilepsy awareness event, working 8am-9pm). My life's passion is early education and I deeply enjoy teaching and playing with children. My family mainly speaks Mandarin Chinese, making me conversationally fluent. I was also in the French Immersion program for roughly 5 years and following this, I've received high marks in French (95+). I'm also taking ASL courses but I'm not fluent yet.
After leaving the French Immersion program, I transferred to the Gifted Program for another 5 years. I am currently enrolled in the Pre-IB program. I am most comfortable teaching and playing with children aged 3-10. My preferred subjects are Mathematics, English, and Science (though I am comfortable with any). My hourly rate is 100% negotiable but my standard is around $10-$12 per hour. Of course, this can fluxtuate depending on hours worked and the workload required.
Despite my young age, I can assure you that I am responsible enough; I have the hours worked, the ambition, the passion, the dedication, and the skills needed. I am happy to meet with any family for a preliminary interview. Feel free to contact me any time!

I'm not afraid of long hours, I've previously worked multiple 10 hour shifts as a volunteer captain at the Kidz Zone at an epilepsy awareness event. My household primarily speaks Mandarin Chinese and I'm conversationally fluent. I was also in the French Immersion program for nearly 5 years and have received high marks in French consistently (95+). Though I am only turning 15, I have lots of experience working with children, and am extremely passionate about both education and early education. Additionally, I am also CPR & Lifesaving certified for ages 6 months - 99 years. I primarily teach Mathematics and English (though I am happy to teach any subjects!). My preferable age range to teach would be those aged 3-10. My rate is 100% negotiable with my standard being $10-$12 per hour. Of course, depending on the hours worked and workload required this may fluxtuate. I am completely willing to meet up with a family for a preliminary interview! Feel free to contact me anytime 😊
