I’m Vanessa, a third-year Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour student at McMaster University pursing a bachelors degree of science with a strong passion for education and helping others succeed. I have hands-on experience working with children through my involvement at McMaster Children’s Hospital with Ronald McDonald House, where I provide support to families and bring positivity to kids during tough times.
As the founder of a fundraising club at McMaster, I’ve organized events to raise money for sick children, showcasing my leadership, organizational skills, and ability to connect with others—all qualities that I bring to tutoring.
I excel in reading, writing, and math, and I love making learning accessible and fun for students of all ages. My patient, empathetic nature allows me to tailor my teaching style to each individual’s needs, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their abilities.
When I’m not studying or volunteering, I enjoy baking and reading, which inspire my creativity and attention to detail—key skills I use to engage students and make lessons enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping students succeed, I’d be honoured to help!
