Fatima E.
I’m a dedicated and hardworking student who volunteered as a tutor in Grade 12, helping younger students with their schoolwork during lunch breaks. I worked jobs at fast food restaurants such as starbucks and tim hortons. I come from a supportive and huge family and am currently preparing for university. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, which is why I enjoyed tutoring so much—it gave me the chance to make a difference, improve my communication skills, and build patience and leadership. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing sports like football, and spending time with friends and family. I’m reliable, friendly, and always willing to learn, which makes me a great team player in any work environment.
During Grade 12, I volunteered as a tutor for younger students at my school. I helped them during lunch breaks, offering support with their classwork and homework in subjects like math and English. I really enjoyed the experience—it felt good to help others understand their work and gain confidence. Tutoring gave me a chance to develop my communication skills, patience, and leadership, and it was one of my favorite parts of the school year.
