My name is Omar. I have a strong academic background in Mathematics and years of experience as a teacher and teaching assistant. I am married with one child and currently live in Edmonton, Alberta. I’m passionate about education, languages, and helping others learn. In my free time, I enjoy reading, studying languages, and exploring different cultures. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping students succeed in their English learning journey.

I have several years of teaching experience, mainly in Mathematics at the high school and university levels in The Gambia. I worked at Mingdaw and ABC Senior Secondary Schools, and later as a Teaching Assistant at the University of The Gambia. While I haven't formally taught English, I have a strong command of the language and often helped students improve their English writing and comprehension. I’m passionate about teaching and currently studying ESL methods to better support non-native speakers.
