Brittni H.
I’m an experienced, heart-centered caregiver and educator originally from Canada. I hold a degree in Psychology and have over 10 years of hands-on experience working with children in both traditional and alternative education settings. I’ve supported children from infancy through age 12 in roles such as preschool teacher, nature-based educator, private tutor, and live-in caregiver, across Canada, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. I come from a grounded and family-oriented background, and I’m someone who values deep connection, respectful communication, and consistency in caregiving. I bring a calm, intuitive presence and strive to meet each child where they’re at developmentally and emotionally. My caregiving style is holistic, nurturing, and creative, with an emphasis on nature connection, mindfulness, and child-led learning. Outside of my work with children, I love spending time outdoors, dancing, creating art, learning languages (I speak English and Spanish), and cooking nourishing meals. I'm also passionate about cultural exchange and fostering emotional intelligence in young people. I’m open to both live-in and live-out roles, and am especially excited to work with families who value play, presence, and building meaningful relationships. Whether you’re looking for an au pair, nanny, or private educator, I’m committed to offering attentive, enriching, and dependable care.
