My name is Natalia 👋 I am passionate about learning and have a genuine love for math and science! I firmly believe that everyone has their own learning style, and find classroom environments often lack the resources to cater to each individual. I believe that's where tutoring plays a vital role, and can make the learning experience more enjoyable :) I’m comfortable tutoring in math and science subjects for grades 2 through to 12. My goal is always to further understanding and encourage curiosity! I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and now work full time from 9-5. Throughout high school and university, I have tutored peers and students in grades lower than mine. After completing eight years of piano lessons, I reached Level 8 RCM. I have previous experience in teaching my younger sister and some of her peers. Not only do I enjoy teaching others about technique and music theory, I also enjoy fostering a love for music and helping others appreciate it as an emotional outlet. I’ve worked as a private tutor for high school students and grades 4-6 in the past, and I’m willing to work with other grades as well. I’m comfortable tutoring math or science studies, and currently work a full time job as a mechanical engineer. I’ve also completed up to Level 8 RCM in piano, and can work with you or your kids as a piano teacher or as additional support preparing for piano lessons.
