I am Maya, a devoted tutor, early childhood educator, and passionate learner. I have been on this path of imparting knowledge for the last 2 years, since the age of 15. I have a deep respect for education and continually seek to empower others through learning. My love for teaching started when I was in school, where I used to assist my peers by guiding them through their academic challenges and working closely with their teachers. My mission is to facilitate learning by explaining complex concepts, managing difficult assignments, and helping students unlock their full potential. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has affirmed my passion for mentoring and the educational process. In terms of availability, I am generally free during the evenings on weekdays and throughout the day on weekends, providing flexibility for all study schedules. As a tutor, I specialize in various subjects. For school preparation, I can primarily help children aged between 3 and 15. Beyond this, I am capable of instructing on subjects such as Math, English, Geography, and Literature. For those interested in diversifying their abilities, I can also teach Physical subjects such as Choreography and Fitness, along with Music subjects like Piano, Vocals, Saxophone, Clarinet, and Music Reading. Apart from English, I am proficient in Spanish and can utilize American Sign Language when needed, assisting a wider range of students. Despite being a student myself, my dedication, passion, and experience set me apart. I am willing to work from the employer's home or online, providing further convenience. I am a non-smoker and a capable swimmer, contributing to a safe and healthy teaching environment. To continue fostering a safe environment, I am willing to obtain a police check.
