We are looking for a tutor for our daughter, who is 7 years old and autistic. Subjects will be a mix of Math and English, Science, Geography, Socials and will be taught through play and hands on learning. Our daughter is currently in grade 2 and school is facilitated from home. She works with a number of specialists including academic tutors, behavioural and speech therapist as well as music instructors to assist in her development and engage her interests. She shows some signs of giftedness which we also want to nurture. This will be 2-4 sessions a week 2 hours per session for the rest of the 2024/2025 school year. We are looking for someone who is patient and creative in approach, and has an open mind to learning styles, and above all else kind and nurturing. Tutor will be provided access to working with our BCBA to guide successful sessions, and all materials required.
