Hello, i am Amala Chengazahsseri Varkychan, I am writing to provide you with a brief overview of my academic and professional background. I am currently enrolled in the Retirement and Resident Management program at Fanshawe College in Toronto. I have successfully completed my Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Computer Applications. Coming from a nuclear family, I am single and actively engaged in personal and professional development. I am passionate about maintaining a balance between my academic pursuits and personal interests. In my leisure time, I enjoy activities such as cooking, housekeeping, cleaning, solo walks, and listening to music. I also value interpersonal connections and actively engage in interactions, fostering meaningful relationships with those around me. I have one year of experience as Personal Caregiver in of the reputed old age home .As well as i have 1 year experience in Child Caregiver job and also i worked in a hospital as a departmental coordinator in hematology department and i did housekeeping job during my academic period . As a Personal Caregiver, I assisted clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, toileting, grooming etc. Provided personal care such as skin care, oral hygiene, perineal care, catheter care and other special needs. Coordinated housekeeping tasks and meal preparation. Assisted to transfer wheel chair and other assistive devices according to the facility policy. Conducted activities to maintain client’s physical, social, spiritual, emotional and mental well-being. Assisted inmates to do monthly checkup and meditation. Purchased food, sanitary items and household supplies. Document client’s status and update the supervisor. And when Worked as a Child Care Social Worker. I created individual child care plan. Helped inmates in their studies and daily routine. Managed inmates files, medical records and transferred files to CSW office. Counseled children and monitor children to maintain healthy environment in the home. Prepared and served nutritious meals. Washed, iron and press clothing's and household lines. Conducted entertainment activities and organized monthly outing. Taken children to and from school, and to monthly checkup and meditation. Helped them to meet their patients and loved ones. And as a Departmental Coordinator, I managed patient files, medical records and transferred patients’ files. Counseled patients and their families. Allotted rooms for clients and their attenders. Communicated departmental issues with head of the department and assisted in resolving client complaints. Coordinated with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness.
