I am a Filipino Registered Health Care Assistant with experience working in a long term care facility, primarily in an advanced dementia unit. My role involved providing personal care such as bathing, feeding and assisting with mobility, while also supporting residents through behavioural and cognitive challenges.I’ve worked closely with interdisciplinary teams- nurses, physicians, therapist- to ensure each resident receives compassionate, individualized care. I’m trained in managing difficult behaviours, ensuring resident safety and offering emotional support to both residents and their families, especially during end of life stages.
