Julia G.
During my training as a pediatric nurse in Germany, I worked a lot with adults and the elderly. I worked in hospitals and also in outpatient care. After my training, I worked in an intensive care unit for adults for a year, from 2015 to 2023 I worked in the hospital with newborns and premature babies. I also worked temporarily on the pediatric ward with children of all ages, on gynecology and other adult wards. My tasks included medical care (administration of medication, care of venous and arterial access, tube care + nutrition, urinary catheter care, stoma care, etc.) nursing care (complete and partial personal care, slides, changing incontinence material, support during feeding, complete administration of food) my experience includes both demented and palliative care patients and paraplegics. I love taking care about people, and I am a great help around the house, I can grasp tasks very quickly, think along, remember things extremely well, am careful, clean and quick in my work. I am a very open-minded person, which makes it easy for me to come into contact with people. I can set priorities and act quickly and specifically in emergencies. I am a very funny person, can laugh at myself, admit mistakes and am grateful for any open criticism in order to improve my skills. I started learning the guitar in February, play every day and am a huge fan of all kinds of music. My biggest shortcoming, and you have to be aware of this, is that my English language skills are still patchy. I took a 6-month language course at Royal Roads University in Victoria, but I am not a native English speaker. I will work on obtaining a PCR and first aid certificate and submit this later. I am currently on a work and travel visa until the end of July 2025. As far as working hours are concerned, I am very flexible and can restructure my daily routine well. I love being outside and active, going for hikes and walks, cycling, skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking and doing yoga - so I don’t mind go Daily out for long or short walks also with pets. That's pretty much all I can say about myself for now, but I am open to any other questions and of course open to an introductory conversation. I'm a pediatric nurse examined in Germany - annual PCR courses ( no certificate available - I'll do it again in Canada), experiences with first aid for Children ( no certificate available - I'll also be going to do this) P.s.: I'll go to visit Germany for around 2 weeks for my father's 70th Birthday in Mid-November. For now, I didn't book a flight, so at the moment, the dates and everything can be negotiated. I'll be definitely there around the 16th of November. I´m looking forward to getting you know.
