My name is Sogbe. After six years of offering empathetic, compassionate, and detail-oriented care in Italy, I’ve moved to Canada where I aim to continue assisting individuals with their healthcare needs. I hold a wealth of patient care experience, having worked in a public hospital and a long-term care rehabilitation facility in Italy before arriving in Canada. I am multilingual, able to speak both Italian and French fluently, and have functional skills in English that I am deeply committed to improving. Apart from being an International Educated Nurse working on obtaining Canadian nursing license in Ontario, I am currently employed as a Personal Support Worker. I have a passion for working with vulnerable populations at any age (children, youth, adult and seniors), helping them achieve their primary needs and well-being. Having worked with a diverse range of patients, I have gained an in-depth understanding and experience with a multitude of diagnoses including Quad/ Paraplegic Care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke, and many others. Furthermore, I’m adept at a range of duties such as Oxygen Administration, Bathing Assistance, Dressing Grooming assistance, Housekeeping, Grocery Shopping, Meal Planning / Preparation, Patient Positioning, Catheter/ Colostomy Care and many others. I am available to provide care throughout the week, during mornings, afternoons, and nights. I am flexible with both live-in and live-out arrangements depending on what is most suitable for your needs. I am eager to start on the 20th of October, 2025, and offer my full-time services either as a caregiver, companion, or personal support worker in home health care settings or clinics/hospitals.
