I took care of Rhonda’s parents for 1yr and 6 months both parents have health issues. The couple are in the late 90’s, living in the apartment at Bathurst and Sheppard area.
I help them in their activities of daily living, accompany to doctor’s appointments, help with the groceries, help in taking a shower, prepares meals and remind them to take their medicine, check blood sugar levels. Since Covid / Pandemic arise, Live-Out for seniors job are difficult to find. Families are hesitant to hire Caregiver on a Live-Out basis. Through some of my friends help, they ask me to work/relieve a few days for them so they can rest.
