My name is Danica Rose, a certified nursing assistant and recent international graduate with a year of experience in providing compassionate care for patients. Currently based in Vancouver, I am passionate and comfortable in assisting patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Bedridden, Fractured Hip, and Quad/Paraplegic Care. Having been equipped with CPR and First Aid Certification during college, I am proficient at performing key duties including but not limited to bed pan management, heavy patient lifting & transfer, bathing assistance, dressing and grooming assistance, toileting assistance, meal planning/preparation, and lifting & transfers. Furthermore, I also take pride in my ability to aid with patient positioning, assistance with walking, and Alzheimer/Dementia care. More than just a caregiver, I am a committed companion dedicated to improving the quality of life for those under my supervision. In terms of employment, I am eagerly looking for part-time roles as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker. My preference leans more towards providing care in Home Health Care settings or Retirement Homes as a Live-Out worker, but I am open to other options that may fit my qualifications. My availability is quite flexible, with open slots covering mornings, mid-day, evenings, and nights from Monday to Thursday. Additionally, I take great pride in my proficiency in working with children with disabilities, utilizing a patient, empathetic approach to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for them.
