I have accumulated valuable paid experience over the course of my career, which began in Greece before extending to Vancouver in June 2023. In Greece, I had the privilege of caring for clients both on the Athens mainland and in picturesque locations such as Mykonos. Since relocating to Vancouver, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in various settings, including private homes, retirement homes, and assisted living residences. In my current roles at facilities such as Blenheim Lodge Retirement Home, False Creek Residence Society, Fraserview Retirement Community, and Wisteria Place, an Optima Living community, my responsibilities are twofold. On one hand, I provide essential physical care, ensuring that individuals feel comfortable and dignified through personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. On the other hand, I play a crucial role in supporting clients' mental well-being by encouraging them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This dual approach involves not only attending to clients' immediate physical needs, but also empowering them to prioritize their overall health and vitality. By offering encouragement, support, and tailored exercise regimens, I strive to inspire clients to feel their best both physically and mentally. Overall, my combined experiences in Greece and Vancouver have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set and a deep understanding of how to effectively support individuals in achieving optimal well-being.
