My name is Enisha, a dedicated and compassionate health care provider from North York. I am 24 years old and am looking forward to beginning a new chapter in my health care career as a Caregiver / Companion starting immediately. With a year's experience, I am quite familiar with assisting patients having several needs. As i am a DSW, during my placement, i have supported individuals in community involvement, social skill development, and recreational engagement, always promoting dignity, independence, and choice. I am a non-smoker, trained in CPR, and hold First Aid Certification, CPI as well as food handler certificate, and AODA training. Alongside my willingness and capacity to relocate, my availability stretches across the entire week, providing flexibility to cater to your loved one's requirements most effectively. In my role as a Caregiver / Companion, I am more than willing to carry out housekeeping duties, laundry, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, and bathroom cleaning. My desired work setting would be in Home Health Care or Retirement Homes, and I am open to both live-in and live-out living arrangements. Although I am of Nepalese citizenship, my communication is versatile with the fluency in English, Hindi, and Nepalese. Furthermore, I also have obtained a police check for peace of mind regarding my integrity and dedication to health care. As a DSW student with hands-on placement experience, I have provided compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities across various age groups. My caregiving responsibilities have included assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility. I have supported individuals in community involvement, social skill development, and recreational engagement, always promoting dignity, independence, and choice. Through my placements, I have worked closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and behavioral strategies, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. I am trained in CPI, First Aid & CPR, and AODA, and I consistently follow health and safety protocols. My approach is empathetic, respectful, and focused on building trust and meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
