My name is Maricar, a 39-year-old woman from North York, and a proud mother of two. I have five years of experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and Caregiver. My background in nursing, coupled with various certifications, such as a PSW Certificate, CPR, and First Aid, have equipped me to deliver exceptional care to patients diagnosed with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Hearing Impairment, Arthritis, Congestive Heart Failure, Parkinson's, Diabetes, and Incontinence. My ability to prepare meals in a palatable manner combined with my meticulousness for cleanliness makes me fully capable of performing a range of duties such as laundry, vacuuming, bathing and toileting assistance. I am also skilled in providing companionship, palliative care, and assistance with range of motion exercises and patient positioning. Moreover, I excel in housekeeping and meal planning, skills that I utilize readily to improve the lives of my patients. As a non-smoker fluent in both English and Tagalog, I prefer working in a quiet and calm environment. My ideal placement is within Home Health Care or Retirement Homes. Currently, I am seeking a part-time, live-out arrangement and can start immediately. My schedule is flexible, with available hours open on the weekend - mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights on Saturdays, as well as evenings and nights on Sundays.
