I'm Cathyrin married, a mother of 2 adorable kids, they are in the Philippines now with their Dad. I'm now a student here in Ontario Canada taking up Nursing Leadership and Management at Seneca College. I'm a registered nurse in my home country Philippines. I love dealing with and taking care of client's especially the old ones because they remind me of my parents "I love them so much" because of that it broke my heart if I saw a client coming to the hospital without anyone besides them. I feel their loneliness and confusion in the environment so I always approach and guide them when I saw them in the hospital. So I think that's the reason's why I'm looking for this line of job besides my previous work experience and profession in my home country. I'm a hardworking person, compassionate, flexible, genuine, goal and time-oriented. I'm very patient, can work under minimal supervision, can work by physical demands. I'm skillful in housekeeping and cooking, I have initiative towards my work, and outstanding work performance and attendance. I work back in my home country Philippines as a private duty nurse for 1 year I took care of a patient with post-op spinal cord surgery. I'm responsible for his ADL's wound dressing, giving oral medication, and physical therapy. I also work as a nurse for almost 2 years, and I was assigned to many areas in the hospital. My duties and responsibilities are addressing patient concerns, monitoring patient vital signs, carrying out doctor's orders, assisting patient's ADLs, administering IV and oral medication, coordinating with relatives of the patients, giving physical, emotional, and spiritual support to the patient.
