I'm Maria, a dedicated caregiver and companion passionate about helping the elderly and ill. Inspired by the love and care I received from my grandparents as a child, I decided to dedicate myself professionally to reciprocate the same love they had given me. I am based in Surrey but open to relocation and travelling as necessary. Having spent 1 year in the field, my experience includes working with patients diagnosed with Parkinson's, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and Hearing Impairment. As a caregiver, I can conduct a myriad of duties including housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, assisting with walking, and escorting to appointments among others. I am eagerly looking for a Full-Time caregiver or companion role in Home Health Care or Retirement Homes. I am highly flexible, available throughout all days of the week, from morning till evening. I have developed a valuable understanding of patience, strength, and empathy through my experience, which I believe are vital in this line of work. As the aunt of child with special needs, I've acquired the capacity to work with children with disabilities––a trait I carry into my professional care-giving roles. I am a non-smoker and am open to both live-in and live-out living arrangements, adjusting to the specifics of the job requirements. I am fluent in multiple languages including Bulgarian, Croatian, English, German, Macedonian, Serbian, and Spanish. While I am of Slovenian citizenship, I am open to working for clients of various backgrounds. My desire to serve comes unreservedly, and I am more than willing to obtain a police check if needed.
