My name is Reyna. I am 28 years old and currently living in Surrey. Some of my hobbies are household chores, gardening, and listening to old music. My journey in elder care began when I was just 8 years old--initially, I was simply a companion but over time, I became familiar with the nuances of caregiving. So far, I have catered to five clients, each with distinct conditions. As a hard-working and driven individual, I'm undeterred by challenges. I am deeply passionate about my work and am competent in fulfilling all assigned tasks. Moreover, I believe in transparency and fairness in all my activities and consider myself as an open and honest person. I am writing to apply for a caregiver position. My experience includes three years of caregiving in the Philippines with a 57-year-old male client who had diabetes and high blood pressure, and who later developed a prostate problem. Prior to this, I cared for two other clients; one had kidney failure and opted out of dialysis. I was his caregiver during his final two weeks, feeding him through a Nasogastric Tube (NGT). During my college years, each summer I cared for an elderly lady with dementia who, while mostly autonomous, required supervision due to her illness, so I assisted with her daily activities. Additionally, during my youth, I acted as a companion to two other seniors. -Assisting Patient with daily living activities as well as social and physical activities. - Preparing meals according to individual service plan. - Monitoring individuals' conditions by taking their Vital signs and helping with medication. - Booking and accompanying people at appointments.
